random quote: "Are you a real «Player 1»?"
Well, it keeps an internal name for every player that's generated by converting everything to lowercase, deleting chars like punctuation and spaces, and then converting some chars into others that look about the same, like ö?o, ®?r (using the same map arma uses for the internal names you see when typing “/players”, with some additions). It also converts three or more of [oez] into one of them. Then it just adds the times for all of the players that have the same internal names.
It used to strip off known clan tags as well, but there's too many clans out there, and it occasionally threw together players that obviously weren't the same…
greate work, time to cox cox cox
