I am firmly on the side of the holers. But everyone's entitled to an opinion.
It was tried briefly on CT Wild recently with blast radius 0.75 (instead of 2). I felt it took a lot of the fun factor away from the place.
If the main defender died it was difficult for a 2nd defence to take over in some cases.
Hole sizes are staying as they are.
If I can be bothered one day, maybe I'll make nano holes smaller and chico holes bigger. But I'd have to be pretty bored that day.

i know ed, but u know i don't like them, i will like they will be at least a bit smallers, 1.5 or 1 of radious. It will still leave fun but make more difficult to get them, just skilled can get them...

Ok, I will make a compromise.
I will change it to 1.5 when I'm back from my hols.Just a test for a while. But no smaller than that.

meh holes are a way of life for some on tron

as long as it isnt in tournys its ok.... if u change the blast radius, u can get stuck in ur own tail

I can honestly not see any reason why you wouldn't use holes. As i said in that thread, it's not about who uses holes and who doesn't (people can play however they want, it doesn't concern me) it's the whining noobs that complain about them that annoys me. Maybe i'll start writing "Brakes are for fags" every time someone uses brakes. Afterall, brakes are cheap, they let you use less rubber, damn braking noobs.

Funny you never see any of the top players (zop, pysko, mazuffer etc) complain if they lose due to a hole.

Depend of my mood. But I definitly think they are part of the game.

As a defender, I think it 's a great challenge to deal with them (even if it's quite frustrating to be holed when you dont see it

As a offender, depending of my mood, or of the situation, I'll take it or not (depends mostly if I want a good challenge or not

But most of the times holes save life in the game... cause they not only happens on the defender !

Who can say he never took a hole when he was trap in the middle of the grid ?

Moreover, as a noob, taking a hole was a challenge by itself ... and I still miss them sometimes, dont you ?

It can be argued pro/cons endlessly ...

and why no1 tell that some1 is hole user if he is a defender and by the hole he came in and do a new def ;/

yes, i agree, holes are needed, but i want a smallers ones, and maybe we can set it depending the type of game.

radious=2 is ok on fast chico
radious=1 in nano a will be better, nano holes are so big

theyre just part of the game, ok i admit it is extremely annoying when sometimes when im defending and its like 5 vs me, someone will hole and i stand absolutely no chance. thats when its irritating, but apart from that ive got no problem
