maybe with 2.8.2.1 it will be enough, it is on arma's web.

how new is this? i have to download every time, and computer is SUPER slow (probably cos of Bus connection to 2 other ones at least) so i use 2.8.1 only less than 2 megs - takes about 5 minutes max - others take like 10+ so i get bored etc

root use sourceforge. even armagetron website points to it for the download

only saves for one (somethimes two) days, as when they restart it the files are ALL gone - everything no matter what

0.2.8.2 is 500kb bigger then 0.2.8.1 (one of the versions is only 1.97 mb) takes AGES longer.

and the computer SLOWs down. starting 300kb its about 40-70 then the next bit can be 10-20kb finally it can go 5-20kb crazy - and ages

u mean that thing u stick into the hard drive? no access to the hard drive, to prevent theft

no i mean a little usb flash memory, used to be called pendrive if the pc has a usb port u can save it there, also ur user.cfg and autoexec.cfgif u use it, and why not, the downloaded resources dir to avoid each time downloading the maps

At my old college, they had a private share for users to store files. Perhaps you could save it in a private or public share.

If not, yes, go buy a USB Flash Disk/Jump Drive/Thumb Drive/Keyfob/Pendrive (they have so many names, but they are all the same) and save it on there.

Only problem is some computers have the USB port only in the back of the computer, so you gotta turn the computer to get access to it. The better computers have a USB port or two right on the front of the case.
