Be great to have a collection of people hosting it. might be able to get a round robin, where 1 person takes the first week, another the second, so on.

So, now i got the time to speak with the guy who has the servers...there are 1 or 2 that aren't in use.
But because they're servers he don't need any more we only can use them for some more months until they're canceled.

I'll get the login-infos during the next few days, I'll inform you when the servers will be back again Smile

I'm proud to announce that the Wild Fortress is up again Smile

Now we own an AMD Athlon 3000+, 1gig RAM, 160GB Space, Rott-Access (sure Wink

) und 400GB FreeTraffic.
The Server is located in Frankfurt / Germany, near the DE-CIX node (good backbone to the USA), we have a 100MBit Connection.

@ed: if you need an account to change serversettings or to insert new maps, I'll create you one.

That's great PTA, been playing for a while, pretty lag free, even Chico Levels.

I would like some access to the server if possible. All I need:
ftp access to the resource dir to upload/modify maps.
shell access to modify the map_rotate script.
I always ran it in a screen session so was able to modify/restart at will.

I don't think that this is a kind of problem - this map was mentioned neither in the maps nor in the mapcycle: I think ed trys to get new maps running
