noodz doesn't make it into any tourney either... I get that you want to be a part of a group but, honestly, what's the point of it if you can't play with us ever?

To be Reconized as part of something, to have pals. I play with few members when either i stay up or get on early. I hate the timezone differences. its wrecks my ping and my chance for clans.

Let me just toss this idea out there to you. Don't make a clan, it will be to restrictive, and not let you get existing, well-skilled Aussies to play on your team. Make a Group. It is not uncommon for clan members to play on group teams to, as long as their respective clans are cool with it.
I will toss an additional motivation out there for you. I have hosted servers in Australia in the past, it never worked out because there was no organized group of Aussies playing in the server. If you would like some assistance getting started just pm me here, on the id forums http://idclansite.info or the main armagetron forums. I tried this about 2 years ago, and I found that when Aussies were playing, it was pretty easy to attract others to play sumo and ctf.

Sounds awesome gene, But one problem, why would Usa players and Eu players play in a server in which they always get 220+ ping? when they can play there own. They would finally see what the lag i deal with every day but they wouldnt keep on coming back to it as tron isn't Aussie orientated.

Its an awesome idea, just saying.

And Jcrot, every clan i apply for says timezone issues, like personally i know if gotten better skill wise, but being in my last year of high school, working, and playing squash which i got sponsred in, im quite busy and cant stay up till 3am in the morning for such tourneys.
