Put a new server up today - Crazy Tronner Wild Dogfights - Testing

2v2 Arena.
10 rounds
5 maps, so each one plays twice. Hoping to have 10 eventually - just seeing what works best.

You have to join a team, no auto team here.

I know I need to fix colours, you can have blue v purple currently, which is no good.

Let me know what you think. Be as critical as can be, if you think it's crap tell me, but tell me why.

Which maps do you think work best, how can I improve any? etc...

i just saw, 4 players some maps are a lot hard, like the one is a race with growing dz, i saw 3 rounds there and nobody get the center.

There are some problems to fix, like the deathzones xevi metioned. But all in all, I think it was funny to play there and I'm looking forward for the fixed version.

Yeah, the race map is hard. With teamplay it's possible to reach the centre, I managed it a couple of times.
But if one team member slips up, it's Deathzone for you.
Never said it would be easy.

Luzifer, you played there where the growth rate of the dz's was 2.2, it's 1.75 now.
Xevi, you saw it at 1.75. I promise you, it is possible.

I've modified a couple of other things there too.

It is tough, I've played a few matches there now, it's good fun.

i know it's possible, but i saw a not bad skilled players dying there, king included.

in fact i now it's possible, i saw the way to success, but it's 2 hard perhaps. It's near to impossible a player, whatever his skills are, had never seen this map can success on it.

That is true. Where would the satisfaction be if it was easy?

I was playing with King on my side. Working together we got it about 50% of the time.
The other 50% of the time one or both of us made a mistake, ruining the teams chance, but we knew we'd made a mistake.

The server is designed to be hard.
You're right, a new player to the server will fail, but he will have to learn.

Chico Polo is rock hard, but a lot of fun, and satisfiying if you get it right.

I love this maps although i am very often dead.
I have to get used to Chico Polo because this is very hard for me. Don't know why.
Race map is also very hard but as Ed told already it is possible to reach the center and i think that its a good training for the driving skills to have maps wich are that hard to play.
So you don't have to kill other players but try to stay alive yourself.

All the other maps are very nice to play and not that hard.

i agree king, it can be a challenge and really nice, i hope the tournament can begin soon.

you should out in your fake wall maps. the cycle disappearance makes it interesting

That's a very good plan. Will add it tomorrow.
It's managable with just 4 players.
