The Team Sumo Knockout Tournament 1 will be held on Sunday the 13th of September, 2009.

You've played one vs one Sumo. Now it's time you team up with your best two team-mates and play three vs three! Little lag, no vultures.

Each team will be matched up randomly against another team. With just one Zone and two teams consisting of three players each. The winning team will move onto the next round, the losers will be knocked-out of the tournament. Eventually only two teams will have surpassed them all to reach the final match. The winners crowned the Sumo Warlords.

• First to 1200 points or highest score after 12 rounds, wins.

strange choice of date - there's HR tourney on 9/13 hosted by compguygene...

Yes, that was a mishap by me. We spoke and we tweaked his times for the European tournament to a bit earlier during the day, so that it's just before the TSKT. His HR American tournament doesn't conflict with it, though. Sorry about this. Hopefully nobody has any issues with that.

P.S. Yes sign ups are still open. I think we should be able to handle 8 more. With half the bracket having byes on the first round. But I assume there's only possibly 4 or so more teams that will sign up.

Just to let you all know, I ended up not changing the time of my European HR tourney. Too many ppl wouldn't be able to show, if I did. Most importantly to me, Ed (you know, the CT that makes all those kewl maps!) wouldn't be able to show! I love to play tron with Ed, and am looking forward to seeing the HR skillz of his that others have told me about! It appears, looking at the list of signups for the European Tourney, that only 3 or 4 people will have a conflict.
