Actually owned, this is very different from other lawsuits regarding treason. Let me explain. There is a real issue at stake here. Obama has never presented a proper birth certificate to establish his proof of being a natural born U.S. citizen. Also, jsut to clarify my own political leanings, I am a Libertarian. I consider the Republicans and Democrats in the U.S.A. to be two factions of the same party. My greatest concern about President Barak Obama, is that he may very well not be certifiable to be President of The United States of America. He also has done more to increase the size of the Federal Government and take away our freedoms than Former President Bush did. He is not only not getting us out of Iraq, but is expanding the scope of our military commitment in the Middle East. Please give the article an honest read. |

owned, I am going to take kyle's advice and agree to disagree. I end my discussion on this on this note. The document that you posted a scan of has been questioned as to it's validity. If there was no quetion to be raised on this issue, then why has the Naval Commander been not charged with mutiny, as required by Military Law? Why is the Obama administration threatening people who question this? This is not a partisan question, it is a legal one. Why has President Obama been so evasive and not forthcoming about this document if he has nothing to hide? |

LOL @ how fake that birth certificate looks. Can anyone say Photoshop? I've forged better looking documents than that. |

everything man-made is biased
I don't have any strong objections to an foreign born President. George Washington wasn't born in the US, was he?
Democrats and Republicans are two distinct parties as well. Today and in general, Republican politicians represent a continuation of the current status thus Conservative, while Democrats represent change and are open to new things, thus liberal. Both parties have become very liberal regarding their spending, and unfortunately I think this will cause a rise in Libertarianism.
"Revenue is the chief occupation of the State. Nay, more, it is the State." --Edmund Burke
The government taxing us is democratically elected, an ideal nation will levy just taxes and pay them. In my opinion, the problem is not taxing nor spending, and the problem is not the parties. I see the issues as the lobbyists and bureaucrats, not part of the democracy, who are using money to secure their self serving interests. Of course, the only groups able to lobby effectively are the rich and their issues dominantly aide the rich at the cost of the laborer.
We also need to return to our imperialistic ways of the 20th century. Economic imperialism in Asia, Central and South America enabled our rise in standard of living. Despite the horror stories of CIA exploitation and assassination, at least their actions served the greater good. The organized wealth we have today is self-serving. |

I can't really understand american (extreme) patriotism. Germany has nearly no focus on Patriotism anymore (because our patriotism was abused to make people blind).
Does it really matter where someone was born ? I'd rather care about honesty and true intentions THAN nation, sex, birth place or skin color.

Uhm, Bush might have taken more freedom than you realised. Atleast in my opinion the "war vs. terror" promoted the idea of all US citizens being possible terrorists thus NSA & friends are free to monitor every citizen without any court order...). So much for not guilty unless prooven guilty . |
