It would be impossible to do this to a server but I wonder what would happen if a team with 4 axes played a team with 8.

Lets say for this that we are playing in a regular fortress map.

So who do u think would win if 2 teams with identical skill in both axes and with each other had one team with 4 axes and the other with 8 axes?

State ur answer and why u think they would win here.

the 8 axes team would win because the 4 axes team has more walls that they cannot grind on therefore trapping them.

now you did not mention is they were normalized axes you could make the 8 axes team have all 90 degree angles so in that case it would be a tie

I'd say 4 axes player win because it's easier to maneuver than with 8 axes. You can change directions quickly and won't need much space to do so.

i agree with sol, plus everyone has a lot more experience of 4 axes than 8 axes

i just say 4 axes cause the def factor, is easier to get a good def there and mantain against attacks, and attacking a def of 4 axes having 8 will be really hard, and probably easy to get a 8 axes def...

the main advantage of 8 axes team will be the diagonals option,, they will get more zone on the initial split, the 4 axes team will need a sooner split that could cause problems with tkings... but after that 4 axes will be superior.

Its harder to trap a 4 axis player with 8 axis. So me backs the 4 axis players.

But

If the 8 axis team is a bic then they will defend using the axis's the 4 axis team cannot grind with. But if their def is penitraited (somehow, gotta be stupid) i don't see how they can win in sumo against a 4 axis.

well I think that it would be near impossible for a 4 axes player to penetrate a good 8 axes player def but if they get inside I would think that the 4 axes player could out sumo him/her. 8 axes players can trap easier but 4 axes would be more manueverable so they would probably win. If all of the 8 axes players septuple (6) binded then they would destroy the 4 axes players because not only could they turn well, but they can also use their diagnol wall. so I say it is a tie.
