0/0 and 0^0 are undefined, simple as that.
What is defined: lim (0/x) = 0
x?0
lim (x/x) = 1
x?0
lim (0^x) = 0
x?0
lim (x^0) = 1
x?0 |
?0 is 0, simple as that |

? being square root. 0 is the only number that when multiplied by any other number equals itself. Therefore defaulting it to be it's on square root.
@0^0, fuller explanation
X^2/X^2=X^0
--->XX/XX=X^0
1=X^0 |

0^0 is still undefined, though, as x²/x² implies that x ? 0. |

yeah, owned,
To clarify:
I don't agree with the negative infinity part, however. |

I'm using linux, but I've mapped my right alt key to do all sorts of useful stuff (besides the stuff in the German keyboard layout).
That's how I get things like ?, µ, ?, ?, ?, ð, ¹, ², ³, ¼, ½, ?, ?, ?, ?, ¬, ?, ?, ?, ·, ÷, ×, ?, ±, ?. And that's just the math related stuff
Øwned: multiplying/dividing by 0 is not an equivalent transformation, thus your reasoning can't work |

wrong
The first one is undefined, you need to specify the direction (+0 or -0). The seconf one is simply 1/k for k ? 0. |

For the first one: For the second one: You're right, I read 1/x |
