"God" is actually all inclusive of any "supreme being". For example, the Christian God is not actually named "God", it is "Yahweh"! Everyone just assumes "God" means the Christian god because there are too many ignorant Christians who pray to "God" without knowing "His" true name.

But, I can't believe in God because my spirituality in "all-that-is" is not religious, is not an entity, and does not have a name.

I don't know if there's a god but if there's one, he gave up long time ago to guide us and get totally bored of us making war in his name... He must be in a depressive mood now cause of these many people using his name for power and money.
Btw, monotheism comes from one and only place and from there comes the main monotheism religion's today. That's a pity to call the same god under different name and to kill others for a question of vocabulary and customs.
For these reasons, I'm highly doubtful about god existence which is the exact opposite point of view of my dear wife. hehe. I'm for respect, tolerance and open-minded...

Its funny... In my Criminal Justice class at CSUB my instructor just asked everyone to answer the following questions (as homework)...

What is your view of reality/what is real? (Can include gods, God, universe, whatever.)
How do you view the world? (Is there order in nature? Is there uniformity in nature?)
What is a human being?
Does man have a nature?
Is man born with an innate nature, based on a design that remains fixed over time and universal for all mankind?
Or does man invent his own nature?
Or do blind impersonal forces shape man?
What does it mean to be human?
How do we know what is right and wrong?

This is a course on Drugs and Crime, so he's going to bring these around to what our your view of alcoholism and drug abuse is, somehow.

I just thought this was an interesting coincidence.

I believe. There is no way to disprove God and by the same token that proves the existance of god.

I think most aethists descredit God with science. But I figure, Why should god have to follow the laws of science, or even the laws of time.

btw my votes were differnt from DDL to here. like i said on DDL today i will vote yes today but tomorrow it will most likely be no. I think we have anough knolege to prove that there is no higher beeing.
