In order to choose the second defender we need to have a hidden sumo server. This server should be not too big with only one sumo fortress (for matches with less about 6 cters). Maybe a expending death zone in the middle after a while could be an interesting thing.

The idea is also to be able to make some intern def practice afterward. Can someone (Ed, Robed or other) try to make this map and create the server? Then send me the details and we will test it.

BTW, in place to have million of servers, maybe we can have only one hidden server named CT practice where some people have the ability to change easily the map between the non fortress, the spoon and the sumo one for different practice needs. Don't know if this is possible. Ed?

I will set a sumo server up in the next couple of days.
We will have 5 CT servers:
Crazy Tronners Wild Fortress (Public - hosted by PTA)
Crazy Tronners Wild Fortress (Private - practice, testing and future clan battles - hosted my me)
Crazy Tronners Spoon Fortress (Public - cvs clone - used for spoon matches. After spoon, we'll see if it's needed - hosted my me).
Crazy Tronners Non Fortress (Private, used for practice and testing, match prelims, etc - hosted my me).
Crazy Tronners Sumo (Private, sumo clone, used for testing, practice, etc - hosted my me).

These will all be permanently on. Once they are all up and running I will post ip and ports to get on.

I agree, if it is possible to have just one hidden server to practices, with map change. And wild for public, not a good idea to have 4 servers.

Really the problem will be the script to do that. Perhaps a easy way can be a rotative match option, one map 4 each match...

All four servers run by me will be on the same server using different ports. It would be tricky to create a script to rotate at will.

I know they wont get a lot of use, that's the point. But they'll be there for when needed,

Okay, we now have Crazy Tronners Sumo.

It is a clone of cvs test sumo. Default values.

It is currently talking to master, so you'll see it on the list.

Please test it, I've only tried it with me. Seems ok.

Once tested I will leave it running but remove it from server list. 2 sumo's is not necessay. But we'll be able to use it for internal testing, etc.

as I already told you, I think that we can change the win zone into a expending death zone. It should be a good improvement.

Still the "only two players" bug and I don't know why you was not able to join the game. Another thing is that I lost my color (I became blue) when I enter on the server so maybe it's something with team that goes wrong. Anyway, I let you check that and set the talk to master to 0. When it's done please send me the details and I will organize the "Find the defender" match (probably on next tuesday).

I think I have it now shadow.
TEAMS_MAX 16 (was 2) should sort out the no more than 2 players prob.
ALLOW_TEAM_NAME_COLOR 1
ALLOW_TEAM_NAME_PLAYER 1

should now allow teams named after players, using the players colours.

Win zone is now a deathzone that expands slowly.

I will leave it on master for now, i'd like to test the new settings. The ip and port (for when it is not)

ok, seems to work now. I would just change the death zone delay cause it's not really usefull actually. Maybe we can slowly extend it from round start or fastly increase it after a delay. What do you think would be better?
