I'm looking for some radio streaming... does anyone have some stations to recommend? there are thousands out there... genre should be rock, indie, jazz, blues, electronical and (almost) no ads.

I just turn my DirectTV to the XM stations... Don't use any computer resources that way. My favorite station is BPM. Channel 859 on DirectTV, I think 81 on regular XM (as they announce it).

You can create your own account and chosse some songs. The engine behind will then try to find songs that are similar in most points.
If you always listen to one specific genre like rock a.s.o. this tools is awesome I think.

yes pandrora is nice, i used to go there a time ago, now i just listen to normal local fm radio
