Time to update our wiki methinks.

I have the source code, it is a php file that parses the map xml file for settings, etc and looks in a given location for images.

If we were to use a phpbb mysql table for the tron servers (instead of it's own database), we could integrate those pages into this forum.
A map section if you like.
If we could them link that page to phpbb users we could allow forums users to update map strategies etc.

Then we'd be on to something.

A lot of work, but a fun challenge.
I will make a start on it next week.

The beauty of integrating it all into mysql/php is that if I add or modify a map, even move or remove a map, the map php page will be upated automatically. Once it's set up it will look after itself.

I'm not sure how you did little columns. But there's over 70 maps there. I wouldn't like to do them all.

I will get the main structure in place and maybe you can them have a go at integrating the "add to description" process with the forum users. Whatever form that takes.

yes, i suppose i will use a group permissions edition mode, i will make a new group and just members of this group will be able to edit them, it will be enough, but it will need a few original code, or in fact just an c&p adaption of current viewing checks into the new file.

maybe we can use a different level system, butt he moderators can be just our actual server techs.

i have holidays the next 2 weeks, and i will be out on my flat of the beach some days, i didn't decided which ones, but probably some of the next week, but it won't be a lot because my girlfriend hasn't holidays on these days it means i will play a lot

why not integrate the rest of the wiki into the forums

almost non of the pages change and for the most part al most all of the pages are a clone of what the site will have

the only pages that there are that wont be in the site are

Noob section(learn how to play) also most activly changed page
